More good news!
I got another phone call from the vet this morning. Olive did great over night. They'd left 1/4 a can of wet food for her and she ate it all of it during the night as well as FINALLY! used her litter box
Her IV tubes were also all pulled around and a mess, so the vet thinks she was really active during the night which is a great sign as well!
her temperature is up a little bit, about 1 degree, so they are going to keep her till the end of the day, make sure her temperature doesn't go up any higher, and I will go get her about 4pm or so!
I also started to receive your donations to my account and will be able to pay roughly 60% of the cost today!

Really upsetting when such things happen - please look at the listing, perhaps there is a doll that you wanted and can afford it immediately to help or alternatively, you can donate some money. 

It has not been easy to maintain my presence here in that form or the other, but since I have a group to care about it has actually made things easier. 

DA has always been a busy place and I can vaguely remember it being not so busy, which was ages ago when I joined in whopping 2006, so nearly 9 years ago! Jesus. In 2006 life was much simpler because I was 16 and because I did not even own a camera (which came in 2009) and I mostly came here to stare at other people's art with a finger in my mouth thinking Wow, these people have achieved so much. Which, by the way, I still do. The point I am getting at is that DA has been a very important source of inspiration for me, and seeing the art of people here I am sure had an impact on shaping some of my perceptions.

I remember seeing first BJD photography here, which at this point was mostly done by  and thinking that I really need one of these dolls. Gradually I have managed to accumulate nearly 14...

Among the fun things which came last year was the BJD group that I have been running with a couple of my friends. I think it was a worthy deed which has encouraged me to give feedback a bit more often. And feedback is why people come to this place. 
I want to group to be more popular, but not sure how to achieve that without revamping the entire theme behind it. Something to think about for the future.

P.S. A bit dissapointing to see that the deviantWear is gone, I still love my T-shirts and my camera bag.

I have been kinda absent from doll-related things lately, and there is so much new going on it seems...
My Dollshe Rosen has finally made it home (after 1 year and 2 months of waiting), so posting some pix.

Well, I have officially finished writing my thesis, so I imagine eventually I should receive my MA's in political science and international relations.
The problem is, now I have to decide what I want to do next, and it's kinda killing me... because I want to do everything. And my health at this point does not allow me to even walk long distances without pain :
Life's a bitch, huh.
Anyways, this summer I really want to devote more time to my dolls, because I've been neglecting them for almost a year now. So I hope soon there will be more interesting projects to show you :]
